The Pestana CR7 Marrakech, a four-star hotel owned by Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, has opened its doors to hundreds of people who were left homeless by the devastating earthquake that struck Morocco on Friday night.
The hotel, which is located on the outskirts of Marrakech, has provided rooms, food, water and medical assistance to the quake victims, many of whom had spent the night on the streets or in their cars.
The hotel staff said they were following Ronaldo’s instructions to help as many people as possible, regardless of their nationality or religion.
