BREAKING: EKSU Female Student Goes Missing

The Ekiti State Police Command has declared a female undergraduate of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Hellen Okorie, missing and appealed to the public for any information that could help locate her.

According to a statement by the police spokesperson, DSP Sunday Abutu, Okorie left her home at No.15, Ayoba Quarters, Behind Sadiat Hotel Irona Area, Ado Ekiti, on September 13, around 8:00 am and never returned. She is 23 years old, chocolate in complexion, speaks English and Igbo languages fluently and has no tribal mark. She is a 500-level student of EKSU.

The police said they have commenced investigation to unravel her whereabouts and urged anyone with useful information concerning her present location to kindly contact the nearest police station or call 09064050086.

The statement also asked the public to ensure adequate dissemination of the information.

Okorie’s disappearance comes weeks after another female undergraduate of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Modupe Deborah Atanda, went missing and was found dead within the school premises.
