Afrobeats superstar Wizkid made history on Saturday when he took the stage at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. He became the first African performer to play the famous stadium and sold out the European leg of his M.I.L.E. tour. Wizkid dazzled the audience with his energetic performances while wearing fashionable ensembles, including as a red Balmain costume and a white Fendi two-piece set, accessorised with Elliot Elliante jewellery.

Wizkid’s performance marked their triumphant return to London after their record-breaking three-date, sold-out stint at the O2 Arena in 2021. Before the Starboy took the stage, DJ Skyla Tylaa, The Cavemen, and Masego gave breathtaking opening acts that left the audience in awe. Wizkid enthralled the audience with versions of his timeless hits as he played songs from his most recent album, “More Love, Less Ego.”

Wizkid received a coveted Brit Billion award following the performance in recognition of achieving 1 billion streams in the UK. He will now play at Tottenham Stadium this year among acts like Beyoncé and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, joining a select group of musicians.
