In a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the death of Afrobeats musician MohBad, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin, popularly known as Primeboy, has turned himself in to the Lagos State Police Command.
Primeboy was declared wanted by the police following his failure to honour an invitation sent to him since the commencement of the investigation into MohBad’s death. The Lagos State Police spokesperson, Ben Hundeyin, confirmed that Primeboy is now in police custody and will be interrogated.
Hundeyin assured that all persons found culpable in the death of MohBad will be brought to justice. He also stated that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a diligent investigation.
This development comes after other individuals connected to the case, including Naira Marley and Sam Larry, were ordered by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, to remain in police custody for 21 days as investigations continue.
The music industry and fans worldwide are closely following the case, hoping for justice for the late musician. The outcome of the police investigation is eagerly awaited.
